Designed by Barb Preston of Pinto Designs, the home features a super-insulated hybrid wood/timber frame with curved timber knee braces. The exterior shows a blend of true Montana dry stack stone and 12” cedar siding. Through the course of project, attempts have been made to build to a more sustainable standard. Highlights include energy saving formaldehyde-free insulation, non-toxic paints, stains and finishes, and certified sustainable metal clad wood windows.
